VersaBuilt Mill Automation Systems are designed for both dedicated and high-mix production environments. These systems use advanced gripper and workholding options to streamline operations, cut setup time, and improve throughput.

The MultiGrip System simplifies Op 1 to Op 2 transfers for fast changeovers and consistent production. Using the MultiGrip vise, jaws, and gripper technologies, operators can automate virtually any part geometry without complex setup or custom tooling.

The DuoGrip System offers a high-speed, single-operation tending solution optimized for part loading and unloading. It’s ideal for shops running consistent part sizes that demand safety, speed, and reliability.

The VersaBuilt ZPS (Zero Point System) enables rapid, repeatable fixturing utilizing ZPS pallet and/or vise technology and minimizes setup times. It’s a proven choice for automating complex or frequently changing jobs while maintaining precision and uptime.

VersaBuilt Lathe Automation Systems deliver reliable, repeatable automation for single- and dual-operation parts. With DuoGrip Grippers, parts can be securely handled, flipped, and reloaded for second-side machining or bar-fed processing.

The DuoGrip Lathe System uses exchangeable gripper fingers to handle shafts, pucks, and other varied geometries quickly and safely. This flexibility allows machine shops to automate even short-run or high-mix lathe operations with minimal setup effort.

The VersaDoor is a simple, reliable, and cost-effective CNC door opener. The VersaDoor comes with universal mounting brackets that allow it to be installed on almost any CNC machine. The VersaDoor is available in single door versions with 24″, 30″ or 40″ actuators and a double door version using two 24″ actuators. When not in use, the CNC door can be manually opened by an operator or the VersaDoor can be disconnected in about five minutes with simple tools.

VersaBuilt’s VersaWash is a chip mitigation system for the VersaCart, Mill Automation System, and Lathe Automation System that improves automation cycle efficiency and results in cleaner completed parts on the table. Because the VersaWash uses water to remove coolant and chips, completed parts are cleaner when placed back on the VersaCart. Moving the chip cleaning step from inside the CNC to outside the CNC means the CNC can get back to cutting parts sooner, increasing productivity.

VersaBlast for DuoGrip uses an air amplifier to generate a powerful blast of air from your shop air supply to remove chips and coolant from parts and workholding when using the DuoGrip Gripper in automation.
